Known as 'of the Bigoterie,' after a house standing , in Berthelot Street, St Peter Port. He was sworn in as Jurat on 26 Apr. 1777, and performed, according to Les Actes des Etats , useful work for the community during his long term of Juratcy of thirty-three years.
