of La Bigoterie, Guernsey, Esquire.
Born April 19th 1814.
Died at Versailles, France
November 17th 1898
in the 85th year of his Age.
This tablet is erected by
his Sons and Grandsons.

m. (1) 25 May 1839, Charlotte, b. 1817 d. 10 Aug 1842
dau. Captain Thomas Nowell Twopeny, late 14th Hussars,

(2) 1878, Elise Alexandrine Moisy-Lavalezerie, b. 1824 - d. 25 Sep 1904

He was educated at Elizabeth College, 1824-31; College No. 11; in business as a Wine Merchant at Le Havre, France;
After the death of his first wife he removed to the same business in Paris; retired to Versailles, where he died and was buried.
