Rev. Robert Sinker M.A.

Cambridge University, B.A. 1889; M.A. 1895; ordained by Bishop Tufnell for Chichester, 1893-4; Curate, St Margaret's Brighton 1893-5. Joined CMS at Karachi, India and met Edith Carey whom he married in 1897. On the death of his wife in childbirth he returned to England with 3 children in 1901. Post at Slough and then Vicar of St Paul's, Southport, Lancs, England 1908-30; Rector of St Matthews, Ipswich; retired to Cambridge in 1940 but was temporary priest at Round Church until his death in 1941.
